These arepas are a collaboration between us and our friend Nando of Moon and Stars Arepas. Nando has been dedicating his passionate and creative spirit to advocating for sustainable agriculture systmes and community building through joyful gatherings, open-pollinated seed and the culinary traditions of his colombia. These certified organic nixtamal arepas of heirloom corn aspire to embody that work.

All our products are made fresh each week. Our order cut-off is noon every Monday. Orders received by noon on Mondays are nixtamalized Monday afternoon and then rinsed, ground, and baked Tuesdays.
Orders placed for pick up are available between 3 and 5pm Tuesdays. Our reduced crew are following strigent food safety protocols. All your orders are handled with (frequently washed) nitrile glove-covered hands. Your order will be in a dedicated box, bag, or tote depending on size, and can be brought to your vehicle curbside, or else left for you on a dedicated shelf in the front of our shop.
If you're receiving your order by mail, you should see it arrive by Thursday afternoon for most locations in New England, or else by Friday afternoon for most other locations east of the Rockies.
These fresh-made products should last at least seven days in your fridge, and up to 3 months in your freezer with no ill-effect. Be sure to check out our 'How-To' page on recommendations for re-heating your tortillas.
